May 18, 2016 – HOUSTON, TX –   Envoy Mortgage, a Houston-based full-service mortgage banking firm that originates loans in 48 states with more than 60 retail branches, has hired veteran executives Joel Cambern and Joe Tako as regional vice presidents for the Northwest and Southwest retail lending regions, respectively.  Together, they bring over 50 years of experience to Envoy’s retail mortgage operations, including many years with the nation’s largest lenders.  In their new roles, Cambern and Tako are responsible for all aspects of retail production for their regions, including managing the existing teams and increasing the company’s footprint and market share as part of Envoy’s strategic national growth plan.

Joel Cambern is based in the Seattle area and manages the Northwest region, which includes Envoy’s Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana branches.  He joins Envoy from Bank of America, where he served as vice president for home loans and previously held national sales and senior operations positions with several nationwide mortgage banking companies.  He has been in mortgage lending and financial services since 1985.

Joe Tako is based in Irvine, California, and is responsible for Envoy’s presence in Southern California, Arizona and Hawaii.  He has been in mortgage lending since 1991, when he joined Home Savings as a loan originator. “Joel Cambern and Joe Tako bring tremendous experience to Envoy’s retail effort and will have great impact on our continued success and future growth in their critical regions,” said Keith Frachiseur, Envoy’s executive vice president for retail production.  “Envoy’s advanced, paperless technology and sophisticated sales support attract top origination talent to our company.
