February 27, 2019 — Portland, Ore. — WFG National Title Insurance Company (WFG), a Portland-based company specializing in national title insurance, settlement services, valuation and technology services, is pleased to announce that the Colorado Division of Insurance has approved the company as a direct insurance underwriter in the state. The company is now one of only a handful of national underwriters doing business in Colorado.
Direct underwriter status provides assurance to homeowners and mortgage lenders that the company meets the state’s high financial performance standards to handle any claims. It also means avoiding a third party should an issue arise on a property after it is insured.
