Aurora-based family-owned mortgage company to sponsor several local charities during holiday season

November 16, 2016 – Denver, Colorado –   American Financing Corp., a family-owned and operated national mortgage banker based in Aurora, is sponsoring and supporting several charitable programs in the Denver area from Thanksgiving through the holiday season.

For the second year in a row, American Financing will be providing a no-cost home mortgage refinance to a deserving homeowner in the Denver area as part of the annual “Hammers and Angels” charity event sponsored by radio station KBPI. Volunteers will help remodel the home for physically-disabled homeowners, including building ramps and adding handrails on both sides of a staircase and outside steps. The event will be held November 21 through December 5. Listeners to the station are asked to provide stories of families in need. The winner of the refinance will be selected by KBPI Morning DJ Willie B.

American Financing will also pay one month’s mortgage payment, up to $1,500 each, for five deserving homeowners as part of 95.7 The Party’s “Holiday Heart” event. Listeners are asked to request to be considered as a recipient of this donation, or to recommend someone else who could use help during the holidays.

Beginning November 25, American Financing is donating six prizes of $500 each toward one month’s rent or mortgage payment through December with the Jammin’ Holiday Wish event, sponsored by Jammin’ 101.5.

In addition to mortgage-related events, American Financing celebrates Thanksgiving by providing turkeys for the Jammin’ Jive Turkey and FLO 107.1’s “Gives You the Bird” turkey giveaways. And for the second month in a row, the company will provide a matching contribution of up to $2,800 to help KBPI raise donations for the Denver Rescue Mission through its “Hand that Feeds” program.

American Financing Corp. will partner with 103.5 The Fox to provide new shoes for 100 deserving foster children through the radio station’s “Kicks for Kids” program and it is the title sponsor of FLO 107.1’s “Toyz N the Hood” holiday party, in which participants are asked to bring a toy as their ticket of admission.
