MReport magazine recognizes CBCMA as one of the industry’s best minority- or women-owned companies for second straight year
CEDAR CITY, Utah – Nov. 9, 2020 – CBC Mortgage Agency (CBCMA), a nationally chartered housing finance agency and a leading source of down payment assistance for first-time homebuyers, has been named one of MReport’s 2020 Top 30 Companies in Mortgage & Servicing. The company, which is owned by the Cedar Band of Paiute Indians, was recognized within the category of “Minority- or Women-Owned” companies for the second straight year.
MReport, a publication of The Five Star Institute, published the full list of companies named to its 2020 Top 30 Companies in Mortgage & Servicing list in its November edition. Companies on the list were nominated by their employees for providing great perks and benefits, their philanthropic efforts, and their positive and inclusive work environments.

CBCMA’s mission is to increase affordable and sustainable homeownership, specifically for creditworthy, low and moderate-income individuals. The mission is carried out by a staff of 72 employees, of which 58 percent are women and a quarter are minorities. Prospective homebuyers can access CBCMA’s down payment assistance programs through a national network of correspondent lenders.
