Denver-based originator ranked 10th among 118 lenders participating in CHFA affordable housing finance programs

February 14, 2022 – Denver, Colorado –  Cherry Creek Mortgage, a nationwide, full-service mortgage lender, has been named a top 10 lender of affordable home mortgages in its home state of Colorado by the Colorado Housing Finance Agency.

Cherry Creek Mortgage ranked 10th in the state among 118 lenders participating in the CHFA’s home mortgage programs for lower-income homebuyers. Through the agency, the company helped 217 Colorado households achieve homeownership in 2021. All told, participating lenders helped 8,731 Colorado households buy homes.

The CHFA was created in 1973 by the Colorado General Assembly to address the shortage of affordable housing in the state. The agency’s mission is to strengthen Colorado by investing in affordable housing and community development. Since its founding, the agency has helped more than 132,000 people in the state achieve homeownership.
