Founder of servicing automation provider recognized for product innovation
Oct. 1, 2019 – CLEARWATER, Florida – Clarifire, a leader in process automation innovation and industry expertise, announced its founder and CEO, Jane Mason, has been named to HousingWire’s inaugural HW Tech Trendsetters list.
The 50 people selected as HW Tech Trendsetters represent executive, product and technology leaders who play an integral role in bringing progressive solutions to the housing industry. Selections were made by HousingWire’s editorial board based on each candidate’s drive toward new ways of thinking and working in the housing economy and the contributions made to their clients over the past year.
“I am grateful to be recognized by our industry with this award, but most of the credit goes to my team at Clarifire for all they have done to make our company successful,” Mason said. “We are working at the speed of light to automate loss mitigation processes, keep borrowers in their homes and to exponentially improve business operations in mortgage servicing. We pride ourselves in keeping the CLARIFIRE® product modern and forward thinking, and continuously improving its features, with change as an inherent part of our core capabilities.”
Mason has over 25 years’ experience managing process-driven businesses in multiple industries, including financial services and healthcare. After building a software solution for an international law firm, she started out on her own as the original intellectual architect of the CLARIFIRE® application. CLARIFIRE® automates workflows for financial services organizations, enabling them to work more efficiently, cost effectively and gain a competitive advantage.
Mason said her vision has always been to put the technology in the hands of the business so the product capabilities can be leveraged to the fullest.
She points out that technology that helps companies work differently and strategically position fresh ways of interacting with other parties and agencies in the industry—and in particular, with the customer—is critical to an organization’s future success. “The Clarifire logo represents taking chaos and streamlining all the moving parts, which is what we’re all about,” she said.
“Disasters, sudden changes in the economy, new servicing trends and regulations all impact the bottom line,” Mason added. “We’re offering the industry software that has proven workflows, logic, business and underwriting rules and is easy to use and easily adapts to industry changes. Clarifire has been proven to be able to reduce the impact of exceptions, like the disasters coming our way daily. We are truly thrilled to be recognized for our work.”
The HW Tech Trendsetters Award adds to a long list of accolades for Mason and her company. Mason recently won a Women With Vision award by 20/20 Vision for Success Coaching and Mortgage Women Magazine, given to women leaders in the mortgage industry who have inspired other female entrepreneurs through their success and by sharing their vision for leadership. Mason has also been awarded CEO of the Year by the Tampa Bay Business Journal and Tampa Bay Technology Forums.
Under Mason’s direction and leadership, Clarifire has been recognized as one of Cloud’s Top 500 Applications Vendors for three consecutive years; by the Tampa Bay Business Journal as a Top Women-Owned Business,; by the Tampa Bay Technology Forum as Technology Company of the Year; and by HousingWire as a HW Tech100 company for the past three years.
