Encompass recognized for TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure information management using MISMO 3.3 standards

September 23, 2015 – Pleasanton, Calif. – Ellie Mae® (NYSE: ELLI), a leading provider of innovative on-demand software solutions and services for the residential mortgage industry, announced that they have received the industry’s first-ever MISMO Software Compliance Certification in the TRID (TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosures) domain for Ellie Mae’s Encompass® all-in-one mortgage management solution.

“The Ellie Mae compliance and development teams have done a tremendous job of building our new TRID compliance feature set into Encompass,” said John Haring, Ellie Mae’s director of Compliance. “The MISMO TRID Certification is a wonderful recognition of their hard work in leveraging the MISMO standards to ensure that our customers are completely ready to meet the challenging new requirements of TRID.”

The MISMO TRID Domain Certification recognizes the usage of the MISMO 3.3 transaction dataset in the production, transmission and consumption of the CFPB’s new Loan Estimate and Closing Disclosure forms and the GSE’s Uniform Closing Dataset (UCD) in Encompass.

“Many industry technology providers claim MISMO compliance in their literature, but very few have actually taken the time and effort to become certified by MISMO,” said Harry Gardner, Ellie Mae’s vice president of eStrategies. “Ellie Mae fully supports the mission of the MISMO standards in creating more streamlined, efficient industry data exchanges, and we’re proud to be the first company to receive MISMO’s formal recognition of TRID domain compliance.”

The value of MISMO software compliance is explained within MISMO’s open letter to the mortgage industry.
