Ellie Mae® (NYSE: ELLI), a leading provider of innovative on-demand software solutions and services for the residential mortgage industry, announced that Harry Gardner, the company’s vice president of eStrategies, will be a guest speaker at the upcoming Housing Innovation Day Conference hosted by global financial services firm Goldman Sachs.

The Housing Innovation Day Conference will focus on significant housing industry trends and will include speakers from all sectors of the housing economy, including the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development, Fannie Mae, the National Association of Realtors and several nationwide mortgage lenders. Gardner will participate in the panel, “Realtors, Bankers and Buyers Move Online: A Technology Panel,” which will address how technology is changing the way Americans buy homes and take out mortgages.

Gardner, a former vice president of industry technology for the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), is currently responsible for leading Ellie Mae’s strategy and execution around its eMortgage and eClosing capabilities. He is a frequent speaker and writer on eMortgages, mortgage technology, industry standards and enterprise data management issues. For more than a decade, Gardner has held various leadership roles at the Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization (MISMO), a voluntary, not-for-profit organization created to establish technology standards and guidance for the mortgage industry.
