New tools help mortgage servicers investigate exceptions, pinpoint root causes and speed up reconciliation, billing and remittance processes

September 22, 2026 – DALLAS, Texas – Integra Solutions, an innovative SaaS solutions provider for the mortgage servicing and financial services industries, today announced new AI capabilities within Integra RECON and Integra BILLING that help mortgage servicers better understand patterns in their reconciliation, billing and remittance processes, so they can take action more quickly.

Powered by loan-level data in Integra’s platform, RECON and BILLING already provide servicers with greater clarity, transparency and control over complex reconciliation, billing and remittance processes. The enhancements enable mortgage servicers to embed AI functionality in critical servicing operations while maintaining human oversight and established security controls.

Rather than simply showing that an account is out of balance or that a billing or remittance variance exists, the AI enhancements help servicing teams identify patterns and potential root causes that would otherwise require manual investigation. The result is greater productivity, faster exception resolution and fewer errors.

“While traditional systems are good at showing users what happened, RECON and BILLING now help explain why it happened—and what to do next,” said Christian van Dijk, president and CEO of Integra Solutions. “By bringing AI capabilities into the workflows our clients already use, analysts can focus their attention where it matters most, rather than spending time manually investigating every exception.”

The AI functionality brings intelligence directly into complex business processes and workflows. For example, AI can analyze reconciliation activity and underlying transaction data to suggest new matching rules. Users can also interact with AI through a familiar chatbot interface and receive application support, direct AI agents to carry out permitted tasks, or investigate the potential root cause of a specific variance.

RECON and BILLING can also be integrated with a servicer’s own AI agents operating within their own governance environment, so they can review reconciliation activity, billing variances and investor reporting against their company’s requirements.

All AI-assisted activity remains subject to Integra’s security and control framework, including role-based access, encryption, validation rules, approval thresholds, human oversight and immutable activity logs.

“The goal is not to remove people from the process, but to help them resolve issues more quickly and reduce operational risk without sacrificing oversight or accountability,” van Dijk said.

Integra’s platform currently supports 8.5 million loans, including custodial reconciliation portfolios for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae, the State of New York Mortgage Agency, Federal Home Loan Banks and private-label securities.
