Mortgage Network, Inc. also named among the top lenders by housing agency

April 16, 2019 ─ DANVERS, MA – Jane Jordan, a branch manager with Mortgage Network, Inc., one of the largest independent mortgage lenders in the eastern U.S., has been recognized as one of the top originators of affordable home loans in New Hampshire by the New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority. Mortgage Network was also named among the top lenders with the agency.

Jordan (NMLS #40681), who manages Mortgage Network’s Laconia, New Hampshire branch office, was ranked sixth among the state’s top loan originators working with New Hampshire Housing, while Mortgage Network was sixth among the agency’s top lenders. It is the ninth straight year Jordan has been ranked among the agency’s top originators.

Each year, New Hampshire Housing recognizes lenders and loan officers for helping homebuyers access the agency’s home loan programs, which offer features such as cash for down payments and closing costs that can help make homeownership more affordable. Honorees were chosen for their high rate of success in connecting buyers with the agency’s programs.

A New Hampshire native, Jordan has been originating mortgages for 25 years. She joined Mortgage Network in 2007.

“While it’s always an honor to be recognized, the real pleasure is helping deserving borrowers find affordable loans to obtain homes of their own,” Jordan said. “Rising prices have made affordability a problem for many families, so New Hampshire Housing’s down payment assistance and other options are a real help.”

“Our top lenders and loan originators are key to supporting affordable housing opportunities for New Hampshire households,” Ignatius MacLellan, managing director of NHHFA’s Homeownership Division, said in a statement. “Their service to customers helps provide affordable mortgages that give borrowers the opportunity for successful homeownership.”

In addition to other programs, New Hampshire Housing’s Homebuyer Tax Credit program provides first-time homebuyers with a federal tax credit of up to $2,000 per year. Details can be found on the agency’s website at www.nhhfa.org or www.gonewhampshirehousing.com.
