Branch manager says it’s still a seller’s market, but increased inventory will help local homebuyers
October 26, 2022 – DANVERS, MA – Mortgage Network, Inc., one of the largest independent mortgage lenders in the eastern U.S., has opened a new office in Quincy, Massachusetts to better serve homebuyers and homeowners throughout the area. Led by Branch Manager John Folino (NMLS #860420), the new location, located near the South Shore Plaza and several hotels, has a staff of five mortgage professionals who have worked together for over 10 years.
“This is the perfect location for our new office,” said Folino, a Quincy native who has over 12 years of mortgage lending experience and has been with Mortgage Network since 2015. “We’re coming off nearly three years of working from our homes, so it will be great to have everyone back together, which will make our team camaraderie and chemistry even stronger. Folino noted the Quincy housing market still favors home sellers and encouraged anyone thinking of buying a home to get prepared now by first speaking to a trusted mortgage professional.
“We’ve been in a seller’s market since last year and most homes continue to sell above asking price,” Folino said. “However, the number of available homes in our area increased slightly over the last month. If this trend continues, it could be a good sign for homebuyers.”
