Top independent lender expands and upgrades popular branch with move to more modern office with greater amenities

March 11, 2021 – Danvers, MA – Mortgage Network, Inc., one of the largest independent mortgage lenders in the eastern U.S., announced it has relocated its Portland, Maine branch to a more modern office in South Portland to enhance customer and employee relationships.

The new office, located at 82 Running Hill Road in South Portland, is more efficient than the previous branch, which Mortgage Network has had for nearly 30 years. It is in a Class A office building with a large, attractive lobby, meeting areas and an open floor plan. The building is professionally managed with 24/7 security cameras and is easily accessible from Interstate 295 and the Maine Turnpike.

Mortgage industry veteran Jeff Rae will continue as branch manager, along with senior loan officers Scott Blake and Hal Inman and loan officers Casey Mountain, Rachelle Bourgault, and loan officer/sales assistant Christine Spaulding. The new office will also include a complete support staff with underwriting and closing functions.

“I believe this new office will have a huge impact on employee morale,” said Rae. “We needed a change and it’s great to have a new, modern office that is more inviting to everyone. We’re confident our clients will love the new space and that it will help with our recruiting efforts to attract top talent as we expand.”

Rae said the new office will give borrowers easier access to the company’s trusted mortgage experts, which is important as low interest rates continue to drive home purchases and refinancing activity in the area.
