Independent mortgage banker also named among the top lenders by
New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority

DANVERS, MA – April 8, 2020 ─ Jane Jordan, a branch manager with Mortgage Network, Inc., one of the largest independent mortgage lenders in the eastern U.S., has been recognized as one of the top originators of affordable home loans in New Hampshire for the tenth straight year. Jordan received the honor from the New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority, which also named Mortgage Network among the state’s top lenders of affordable mortgages.

Jordan (NMLS #40681), who manages Mortgage Network’s Laconia, New Hampshire branch office, was ranked fifth among the state’s top loan originators working with New Hampshire Housing, while Mortgage Network was sixth among the agency’s top lenders.

Each year, New Hampshire Housing recognizes lenders and loan officers for helping homebuyers access the agency’s home loan programs, which offer features such as cash for down payments and closing costs that can help make homeownership more affordable. Honorees were chosen for their high rate of success in connecting buyers with the agency’s programs.

A New Hampshire native, Jordan has been originating mortgages for 26 years. She joined Mortgage Network in 2007.

“It’s been a huge honor to be recognized by New Hampshire Housing,” said Jordan. “With rising home prices, affordability continues to be an issue for many families. New Hampshire Housing’s down payment assistance and other options provide a lot of help. I really enjoy working with so many deserving borrowers and helping them afford the home of their dreams.”

“Our top lenders and loan originators are key to supporting affordable housing opportunities for New Hampshire households,” Ignatius MacLellan, managing director of NHHFA’s Homeownership Division, said in a statement. “Their service to customers helps provide affordable mortgages that give borrowers the opportunity for successful homeownership.”

In addition to other programs, New Hampshire Housing’s Homebuyer Tax Credit program provides first-time homebuyers with a federal tax credit of up to $2,000 per year. Details can be found on the agency’s website at www.nhhfa.org or www.gonewhampshirehousing.com.
