Independent mortgage banker also named among the top lenders by New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority

July 27, 2022 ─ DANVERS, MA – Jane Jordan, a branch manager with Mortgage Network, Inc., one of the largest independent mortgage lenders in the eastern U.S., has been recognized by the New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority as one of the top originators in New Hampshire for the 11th straight year. New Hampshire Housing also named Mortgage Network among the state’s top lenders.

Jordan (NMLS #40681), who is a Certified Military Home Specialist and manages Mortgage Network’s Laconia, New Hampshire branch office, was ranked eighth among the state’s top loan originators working with New Hampshire Housing. Mortgage Network was ranked seventh among the agency’s top lenders.

Each year, New Hampshire Housing recognizes lenders and loan officers for helping homebuyers access the agency’s home loan programs, which offer features such as cash for down payments and closing costs that can help make homeownership more affordable. Honorees were chosen for their high rate of success in connecting buyers with the agency’s programs.

A New Hampshire native, Jordan has been originating mortgages for 28 years and is a Certified Mortgage Professional (CMP) with the Mortgage Bankers & Brokers Association of New Hampshire. She joined Mortgage Network in 2007.

“It’s a great honor to be recognized by New Hampshire Housing year after year,” said Jordan. “As most of us know, spiking home prices are making it very difficult for would-be buyers to afford a home. I’m happy to provide my clients with access to New Hampshire Housing’s down payment assistance options, which are a vital tool for helping many borrowers realize their dream of homeownership.”

In addition to other programs, New Hampshire Housing’s Homebuyer Tax Credit program provides first-time homebuyers with a federal tax credit of up to $2,000 per year. Details can be found on the agency’s website at www.nhhfa.org or www.gonewhampshirehousing.com.
